It should be noted that data transmission on the Internet can always be subject to security vulnerabilities. A full protection against access by third parties is not feasible.
II. Legal basis
The legal basis for the processing of data are our business licenses for employment services and for services in automatic data processing and information technology. CryptoExplorer collects, uses and discloses personal data only if this is permitted by law, is necessary for the intended purpose due to the contractual use or if the user consents to the processing of data.

V. Types of users
We address our website offer to both registered users (hereinafter referred to as “applicants”) and non-registered users of the website (hereinafter referred to as “visitors”).
- applicants: applicants can create a user profile at CryptoExplorer for the purpose of depositing a resume and communicating directly with employers. By registering with our career portal, you enter into a contract with us. You instruct and authorize us to forward your data – within the scope of your releases – to third parties, such as (potential) employers in particular, for the purpose of the application or to disclose it to them. Therefore, you yourself decide which data is entered in the user profile. The specified data entry fields are not mandatory. Likewise, the personal data stored in the user profile can be managed by you independently and completely pseudonymized. You can independently delete, change or block your data. More information is below under point VI “User rights”.The duration of data storage is limited to the duration of the registration of your user profile. After (at any time) termination of registration, your personal data will be immediately and completely deleted.
- visitors: Certain data of visitors are also processed via server log files (website visited, time of access, amount of data sent in bytes, source/reference from which you came to the site, browser used, operating system used, IP address used). The data collected is only used for statistical analysis and to improve the website. All data is processed anonymously, which means that a natural person is no longer identifiable.
VI. Rights of Users
You may contact CryptoExplorer at any time to exercise your lawful rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:
- Right to information about their stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing;
- Right to rectification;
- Right to erasure of incorrect or unlawfully processed data;
- Right to object;
- Right to withdraw consent;

- Right to data portability;
Insofar as there are changes to your personal data, we request that you notify us accordingly. The following rights can be implemented independently in the user profile:

- Right to data portability.
These requests for information, deletion, rectification, objection and/or data transfer, in the latter case, provided that it does not cause disproportionate effort, should be addressed to support@cryptoexplorer.cc. Please include clear and comprehensible proof of identification so that we can send the data protection-compliant response to the person actually affected. CryptoExplorer will respond to the request within one month at the latest and, in the event of a rejection, will provide reasons for the rejection. In the event of a justified request for deletion or correction, this will also be forwarded to the recipients of personal data for implementation by automated means. You may also exercise your right to information regarding your data stored by CryptoExplorer by viewing your user profile.
VII. Right of Complaint to the Supervisory Authority
If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by us violates applicable data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, the competent authority for this is the data protection authority, address: Hohenstaufengasse 3, 1010 Vienna; phone: +43 1 531 15-202525; fax: +43 1 531 15-202690; e-mail: dsb@dsb.gv.at; https://www.dsb.gv.at/ .
VIII. Transfer to third parties/recipients in third countries
In order to fulfill the business purpose, we will also forward your data to third parties (potential employers / interested parties, authorities/courts, tax advisors, banks, IT service providers, Chamber of Commerce, providers, website hosting companies, social media, insurance companies, which we use and to which we provide data). In case of a profile access, the company name, address and contact, date of access as well as all job advertisements published by the applicants on talents.cryptoexplorer.cc will be displayed.
Likewise, the applicant can select those data in his/her resume that are visible to job providers, whereby the activated, pseudonymized resume is always visible to job providers. In addition, the applicant can also deactivate his or her resume at any time and free of charge, so that it does not appear (even pseudonymized) to job providers.
If the applicant releases his/her contact data, he/she consents to being contacted by the respective company. Personal data of the applicant shall in particular not contain the following information:
- Health data such as illnesses, pregnancy
- Ethnic and racial origin

As a rule, your personal data will not be transferred to recipients in third countries. However, some of the recipients of your personal data mentioned above are located outside your country or process your personal data there. The level of data protection in other countries may not correspond to that in Austria.
The applicant is entitled to deactivate his/her CV, withdraw his/her registration or delete his/her account at any time. In this case CryptoExplorer will immediately delete all data of the applicant. When registering in the login area of CryptoExplorer via social services (e.g. Facebook, Google), only the user’s e-mail address will be used. Beyond that, no further data of the user will be stored.

If contributions or comments, messages and photos are left on the website of CryptoExplorer Talent Network that do not comply with our terms of use (offensive, insulting, discriminatory, criminal, etc.), we are entitled to delete them at any time. This serves our legal security. If the text violates legal regulations, CryptoExplorer has to be able to trace the identity under the legal requirements.
XI. Applications for job offers on the part of CryptoExplorer
Personal application data is collected and processed exclusively for the purpose of filling vacancies within CryptoExplorer. For this purpose, CryptoExplorer processes the name and contact details as well as submitted CVs and certificates.
CryptoExplorer does not request sensitive data pursuant to Art. 9 para. 1 EU-DSGVO. Should you nevertheless provide such sensitive data, you expressly consent to the processing of such data for the purposes of application and recruiting by CryptoExplorer Talent Network.

XIII Consent to the use of data in the sense of the data protection declaration
With the consent in the course of registration, the applicant declares his agreement to the use of his personal data in accordance with the data protection declaration.

Using the browser to control cookies
Most browsers allow you to view, manage, remove, and block cookies for a website. Keep in mind that removing all cookies will lose any preferences. This includes the ability to disable cookies, as this feature requires setting an opt-out cookie on your device.
Administration of Analytics Cookies
It is possible to disable the storage of your anonymized browser history by Analytics cookies. In the following links you can see the service providers we use. By clicking on the links you can read their privacy policy and how to disable the used Analytics cookies:
Google Analytics: http://www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html
Google Analystics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of your use of our website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of our website (including your IP address) is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our website, to report on this website activity for us as website operators or the operators of the website whom we commission, and to provide us with other services related to the use of websites. Google will also provide this information to third parties, if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Google will never associate your IP address with other Google data. For more information about Google’s data usage, please visit: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/
We have concluded a direct customer agreement with Google for the use of Google Analytics by accepting the “data processing addendum” in Google Analytics.
You can find more information about the data processing addendum for Google Analytics here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/3379636?hl=de&utm_id=ad
We have implemented the IP address anonymisation of Google Analytics on this website. This function was developed by Google so that this website can comply with the applicable data protection regulations and recommendations of local data protection authorities if they prohibit the storage of the complete IP address. The anonymization or masking of the IP takes place as soon as the IP addresses arrive in the Google Analytics data collection network and before the data is saved or processed.
You can find more information about IP anonymization at https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2763052?hl=de.
We have enabled the advertising reporting features in Google Analytics. The demographic and interest reports include information about age, gender and interests. This enables us to get a better picture of our users without having to assign this data to individual persons. You can opt-out of using the activities and information in your Google Account by selecting a checkbox under “Advertising preferences” on https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated.
Facebook Pixel
We use the Facebook pixel of Facebook on our website. We have implemented a code for this on our website. The Facebook pixel is a snippet of JavaScript code that loads a collection of functions with which Facebook can track your user actions. For example, when you purchase a product on our website, the Facebook pixel is triggered and stores your actions on our website in one or more cookies. These cookies enable Facebook to compare your user data (customer data such as IP address, user ID) with the data of your Facebook account. Then Facebook deletes this data again. The collected data is anonymous and not visible to us and can only be used for advertising purposes. If you yourself are a Facebook user and are logged in, your visit to our website is automatically assigned to your Facebook user account.
We only want to show our services or products to people who are really interested in them. With the help of Facebook pixels, our advertising measures can be better tailored to your wishes and interests. This way, Facebook users (if they have allowed personalized advertising) get to see suitable advertisements. Furthermore, Facebook uses the collected data for analysis purposes and its own advertisements.
If you are logged in to Facebook, you can change your settings for advertisements yourself at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. If you are not a Facebook user, you can basically manage your usage-based online advertising at http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/. There you have the possibility to deactivate or activate providers.
If you would like to learn more about Facebook’s privacy policy, we recommend that you review the company’s own data policies at https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
